20" Tires and wheels

What is your opinion as to the advantage of 20" over stock 18"..The 20" will go thru a larger pot hole with less affect... What else???

I actually thought that the 20" would go thru a larger pot hole with more... The tires are lower profile no, thus easier to bend and you feel more impact?

Looks and a bit better handling vs less comfortable ride and tire wear

I just switched and the ride is amazing. The 18s not only looked like a grannie wheels, but were loud. I got toyo st2s. They look great, also. I turned the 18s into my winter set with studs.

Same here!
I just got 20"s and TOYO STII staggered. They look awesome, tires are super quiet and so smooth compared to the stock RFTs...
Point of no return...
Here are some pics I just took today

My opinion is with 20's performance summer setup allows you to get a really nice 18/19 winter setup. Now you save your 20's from the winter weather, your soft expensive 20's last longer, you get awesome performance in the winter compared to the All Season and the 20's look awesome. By the way, the wheel conference on the 18's are the same as 20's so that has no real effect, the patch is wider on the 20's so smaller potholes may be rolled over. Usually the 18's fair better on potholes due to the larger sidewall.
