M-sport dead pedal and AC condensation

Went out for a cruise around Yokosuka bay this evening - some of those roads are great with curves and beautiful ocean view.

It was very warm tonight and I like driving with the windows and sunroof open - but I also had the AC on part of the time. I noticed large amounts of condensation on the vents and the air coming out looked to be smoke vapor. It was blowing cold (22* C on both sides) so just the combination of the humidity outside with the windows down - nothing wrong. At this point I had already been driving about 2 hours.


Then while accelerating up a slight incline, I felt some kind of liquid drop on my foot (I was driving with my Lacoste Driving shoes and no socks). First thing that came to my mind was that condensation accumulated around the area and started to drip. Will check this out tomorrow in daylight but in 11 years of E39 ownership this has never happened before. Anyone else?



On another note - the M-Sport dead pedal is irritating me as its starting to make this creaking sound when pressure is placed. My original one did this so I bought a new OEM dead pedal some years ago but after time, the creaking has started getting worse.

Folks with the M pedal, does it feel solid or do you have a creaking noise? I recall the non-sport dead pedal was carpeted and 'part' of the interior as opposed to a separate plastic element being mounted. I'd like to convert it to the non-sport pedal not sure if that is possible. The dead 'pedal' in my previous non-sport E39's seemed to feel more solid from memory.
