I just recently got a 328i xdrive used and looking to add a backup cam and Nav or screen mirroring. I was doing some searching and these 2 vendors popped up and seem to have some good solutions, but didnt find many review on their website and reviews about the vendors online. Anyone have experience with them?

http://www.dvdgpsnav.com/

http://www.carnaviplayer.com/

https://www.tadibrothers.com/

I know that these are chinese vendors and there arent any reviews to go on, but I do like the touchscreen aspect and having android integration.

Anyone have any experience or recommendations on who or what they used to add in backup camera or Navigation? Part of me would rather do a screen mirror to get google maps and waze instead of an OEM navigation, but if there is a practical option that can do both, I am open to that too.

Thanks!

Here is another option for you. I am going to add a backup camera to my daughters E90. I plan to use the OEM accessory Garmin mount to mount a nuvi to the dash. The older nuvi 5000 model I have accepts wired video in for backup camera. I then will use one of the trunk handle backup cameras from ebay. Info on the mount in this thread. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpost.php?p=11574598&postcount=22

The only reason this project is not complete yet is I need to figure out a way to wake up the nuvi when we unlock with the key remote. Currently the nuvi 5000 takes 20 seconds to boot and we want the backup camera working faster than that.

Newer nuvi accept wireless video however the review are not that great and it is not cheap. The nuvi 5000 is an older gps marketed to truck drivers who may have cameras in their trucks.

This is the rear-view camera solution I got on my 2013 328i Convertible: https://www.bimmer-tech.net/bmw-rear-view-cameras/

It works seamlessly; the rear view camera displays on the dashboard screen immediately when the car's in reverse. In fact, that's my car in the vendor's installation video!

Kies Motorsports

They also installed something called SmartView (mirrors the smartphone on the dashboard screen) for a few bucks more, but I find that I don't use it.

If you're in the NY/NJ/PA area, though, I wholeheartedly recommend Kies Motorsports. Their enthusiasm and devotion to customer service is unmatched by any vendor I've ever dealt with in any field. (They also installed my SmartTop for me, even though I bought it on eBay.)
