LaLaRay your Black M5 looks sick. Probably the nicest classyist looking E39 I have ever seen. Can I use your car for my screen backdrop? That way I can drool every time I use my computer. Do you have tow M5's? How do you debadge them? I would like to do that to mine since it has some cool mystery to it I think.

I debadged my car with my finger and that took about 3 hours of just rubbing. I did my friends in 5 mins. used floss to get the numbers off and then put gas on a towel and it whipped right off with a couple of rubs
Damn Dennis, what front bumper and suspension do you have on your car? Looks really clean and nice.
Also have always loved those spoked deep dish rims.

Found this thread yesterday and just finished looking at all the pics. I graduated in 2011 and can't even imagine spending as much money on mods as LaLa and Mike :yikes:. I also think I overpaid for my car .
Anyway, I've been enjoying it so far and I have finally figured out what mods I absolutely must do. I gotta do the M-tech bumper (at least the front) and either M-parallels or similar wheels. Window tint was done last week. I am replacing the license plate bracket on the current front bumper; the piece is at the paint shop.
What's up everyone...
Recently purchased a stock E39 and here are mods I've done thus far..
JOM coilovers
Oem style 5 bbs RS090 with gold bolts, silver painted spokes, and polished lips wrapped in 205/40/17's
Black roof
Full custom soldered interior led's
eBay black projector headlights retrofitted with Acura tsx projectors, D2s hid's and ccfl angel eyes
Rear 30mm wheel spacers
m5 style front bumper
Black grilles
Painted on rear diffuser on stock rear bumper to give a better look till I can afford to upgrade
Everything engine wise is stock so far..a work in progress!
