No he just took off the runflats and put on aftermarket wheels with all season tires. I personally find the x5M to ride quite well with the run flats. However, the roads are really good where I live.
I'm perfectly happy with my X6M as is, no plans to lower or change wheels. I love the looks and figure it was designed the way it is for a reason. Driving the (not mine) X6M on the track at BMW Performance Center, it felt planted and solid and it was stock. Handles amazingly well!
im lowered on custom air ride, it rides perfect. might not be for everybody but its what i was looking for to lower the car and raise it up when i drive.
I am happy with my KWv3 and I am picky (as is my wife)
