19's on my e34
after waiting for my front spacers to come in i finally was able to mount my 19's onto my car.
i previously had 17's oem bbs on there. will probably keep them around as a second set. obviously everyone is going to have a different taste in style but for now i'm liking the way the new rims look on my car. more aggressive and rear sits flush with the fender, while the front sits a tad bit in. front sits really nice while the rear is a bit higher. over all it rides still smooth, no rub (i'm sure i'm bound rub or bottom out if i had a bad pothole) but over i can't complain. specs Linea Corse LC855 - Satin Black -19x10 +22 rear -19x8.5 +30 front toyo 265/235/35/19 10mm spacer in the rear 15mm in the front project kics 35mm bolts if anyone has any question i would be more then happy to answer. not sure what good i'll be. very thankful my friend owns two e34 so he was able to help me figure everything out. please excuse the car being a bit dirty, didn't have time to wash it and my dad was cutting the lawn in the morning. morning moisture on a car with fresh cut grass dont mix well together. Comgrats man. You are officially the first person to not destroy an e34 with giant wheels. The sole example of 19s workimg with an e34.
I still love the style 42s though Sent from Joe's Galaxy Tab 2 via BimmerApp

Those beautiful 17" BBS look much better IMO. But again, it's not my car.

Yeah, not my thing for this car. 18" at most with lip. e34s are hard to pull off with concave and 19" wheels. Fitment wise it looks good though but not my cup'o tea.

monsignor - sorry for the really late repost. been in hawaii for almost two weeks. just got back last night. thanks for the credits but i can't take it all. my good friend from weksos owns two pristine e34 that are car show worthy. i am happy with mine but the rear so so flush with the fender that it rubs the rim when i hit a bad bump. gotta take the read down to 5mm spacer instead of the 10mm i have on now.
s406 - thanks, dread the day if ever curb the rims. haha vanos - yeah i like the style 42's as well. maybe when i jack these up i'll go and get the 42's refinished and probably get it painted black. 93till - thanks i know it will look nicer if it was on coils. but for now its looks nice for how it rides car driver - thanks swisscheese - yeah i know it was going to be hard to pull off. but my friend has a really clean black 525i full all around ac schnitzer kit. straight jaw dropping. his car can pull off 19's and concave easily mine is nothing too special. m540fella - yeah i agree but not much i can do since it sits on springs right now. style 42's is nice as well but more conservative look. |

19" wheels on an e34 // taboo yes.. But thats my middle name
![]() HERE IS MY CAR. 19" BBS MLR's 235/35/19's 25"MM SPACERS ALL AROUND... have since been lowering the car to achieve the correct stance have wheel caps ect.. this old pic has stock rear height, and hut hum.. torched front springs.. to lower on my 95 540i /6 sport.. I DID IT FOR A FUN LEARNING EXPERIENCE.. WHILE LEGIT SPRING WHERE IN THE MAIL felt decent and worth while till i replaced with bav auto springs.. became a luxury car again.. JUST BETTER ALL THE WAY AROUND, SITS A BIT 2 HIGH FOR ME BUT PROBABLY ALWAYS WILL.. I MAY CUT THESE DOWN AN INCH OR 2 ![]() i did a huge write up on how to do it wrong but NOT be DANGEROUS! in other forums |

that is kinda funny i admit!
im on bilstien and B&G currently.. not in that photo.. I WILL TRY TO GET NEW & BETTER PICS SOON.. MY SUSPENSION I HOPE HAS NOT SETTLED ALL THE WAY YET.. IM ALWAYS GONNA WANT TO GO LOWER THOUGH PROBABLY.. I heated my springs to lower the car a bit til my new parts arrived, then when they did.. i did not need a compressor. SO EASY! MY STANCE HAS NOT CHANGED MUCH BUT THE RIDE QUALITY IS BACK AND HANDLES BETTER DUH.. just a review i would not want that for ever, but for the 2 weeks i had those wheels and stock height it was well worth it!

DEAR, filnguyen
I LOVE YOUR E34, I LIKE BOTH SET OF WHEELS! Have you ever considered painting the face of your 17"s gloss black and leaving the chrome lip? i think that would be sensational!! I KNOW ITS JUST ONE MORE PERSONS 2 CENT'S (if its worth that much even ) AND ITS ALL ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT!! just making sure its crossed your mind, if not hey you may be into that 2.. never know KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! I WOULD LOVE AIR BAGS EXCEPT FOR THE COST AND INSTALL.. PLUS IM I BELIEVE THE BMW FEEL WILL BE LOST IN THE STEERING.. LIKE TO FLICK MY CAR SIDEWAYS AND HOLD IT THERE WITCH KINDA RULES THEM OUT..
COIL OVER'S HAVE GOT MY NAME WRITTEN ALL OVER THEM EXCEPT CHEAP ONES ARE 4 LOOKS ONLY( WILL SNAP IN HALF ON A TRACK) AND MOST WELD IN.. MY CAR HANDLE'S GREAT NOW, RIDE'S GREAT NOW.. JUST IS ABOUT AN INCH TO HIGH.. I CAN'T IMAGINE REMOVING 1/2 A COIL WILL AFFECT MUCH.. I PROBABLY WONT DO ANYTHING MORE BUT ONCE IM SURE IT FULLY SETTLES IN ILL CONSIDER A MINI DROP.. MY ORIGINAL GOAL WAS JUST A MEAN STANCE.. BUT IT DOES EVERY THNG SOO WELL.. IT'S MY ALL ROUNDER NOW.. ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by imae34driver; 02-26-2013 at 02:34 PM. Reason: CAN NOT SPELL |

HAHAHA THANKS M540FELLA, GOOD INFO FOR THOSE WHO MAY BE CONSIDERING AND DON'T KNOW ABOUT IT'S AFFECTS..
i did go to AND graduate tech school and have worked in the field.. may as well have just informed me smoking is bad for my health HAHAHA... we do it any ways!!! REMEMBER - IM THE GUY WHO LOWERED HIS CAR WITH A TORCH..hahaaha.. 4 FUN..!!! liked it actually.. didnt seem that bad till replaced it and wow.. I DID IT FOR LEARNING, & ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO SAY DONT DO IT.. HAVE YOU??? i kinda like my car more every day but idk if i will ever be happy with the stance.. MAY CUT IT FOR LEARNING. AND IF I LEARN ITS NOT GOOD ENOUGH.. COIL OVERS!!! IMHO -- THERE IS NO HARM IN EXPERIMENTING WITH OLD PARTS, OR THINGS YOU HAVE SPARES OF, OR IF YOU CAN OFFORD 2 REPLACE IT ANYWAYS.. WHY NOT CUT STOCK SPRINGS IF NEW SPRINGS ARE IN THE MAIL, OR IF YOU HAVE EXTRA'S.. (don't blow struts you plan to reuse/think s*** threw b4 getting crazy) BUT IT'S PRO'S AND CON'S ARE ALL HYPOTHETICAL TILL YOU ACTUALLY TRY!!! SOME THING'S REALLY JUST WORK BETTER THAN THEY SHOULD.. imae34driver - thanks i recently swapped out my 10mm spacer in the rear for 5mm spacers cause my rolled fender was rubbing on the rim and wearing down the paint when i hit a bad bump. 5mm spacer clears the strut and doesn't rub the fender anymore that i know of haha. yeah i for sure want to get the style 42's refinished was thinking of doing all black, been loving the black on black look. its my toy car and daily driver for work not trying to make the car a money pit.
expecting a kid now so when my kid comes i won't be driving this to transport my child. about to trade in the gf's car to get a new sequoia and make it the main family car while in the mean time save up and hopefully get a cls63 or panamera by end of the year for myself for work and to transport the kid. but for now my e34 is fun to mess around with. |
