I have a 1994 bmw 530I with a manual transmision. The timing belt sliped in my engine and now the engine is dead. I really dont see putting anymore money into this car. Do you think it is worth selling as dead or parting out. Please help. thanks JOHN

You'd probably do better parting it out. You could swing more for just the transmission than the entire dead car whole. After youre done parting out (if that's the route you take), I'd like to buy the shell and whatevers left. Lookig for something to put my M70 into; custom E34 550i? Hell yea!

Either DIY or pay a shop to drop a m60b40 in it!

Wont take long its direct fit, its more powerful its more effecient, more reliable, worth more ling run & way more fun..!!!!

Ive bought and sold complete solid running m60b40's for 400$

Its the same motor you have now but made to 4 liters and is just far superior.. So if you live it, keep it and swap it.. Well worth it!
