Yah, I show up every now and then. Just to vanish again for ages.

Thanks for recommending EAC Tuning! If anyone needs OEM parts at great shipped pricing feel free to PM or email me for a quote- you can also check out our site if you already know which parts/ part numbers you need. Don't see it listed? Shoot me a message, I can get anything BMW makes as well as a wide selection of aftermarket parts and upgrades.

Nice list mike. Big props to Pelican, I've been very pleased/impressed with them.

#9 ·
I know we can comment about which vendors rock...RMEuropean, Tischer, evosport, bimmerworld, pelican, etc...

Can we also comment on which vendors have crappy customer service and are run by dooshbags?

Great post,

I'm just curious if anyone knows a place and or website similar to http://www.bmrparts.com/ that is located in Germany, close to Nurnberg would be great. I was a bit let down when I saw BMR was in Cali.....but in the long run, that could be pretty sweet, since I technically live in Portland, OR. Ive got two years left in the Army until I get back there with my baby tho.

So if there are any Germans, that know some good Mechs out in Bavaria, and or websites that would be great. I seem to run into a lot of issues when I search Google for such things.

Ive also only been over here for 6 months...since I pretty much left for Iraq right when I got here, so I'm new to the area. I also don't speak the language to well but I'm picking it up ok.

Just got my E36 today, only a 97 316i tho, so I'd like to do an engine swap at some point.

Anyhow, sorry for all the "noob-ness":confused:

Don't blow me up!

Updating the list here in the next few days and fixing the dead links. Any Vendors need adding?

Whoa........ Lookey here, Lazarus had risen from the dead. Whats up my man. Disappointed I haven't received any drunk dials from you in a while.

I'd add AutohausAZ.com to the list, I've been using them quite a bit and they've got good prices & service, and quick shipping.

Seriously?

The thread you are reading is the E36 Vendor list version 2 (V2). That's the list. Vendors that sell parts for BMWs, in particular E36 parts.

I'm going to copy and paste a condensed version from the BigCoupe.com forum where I hang out about 1/3rd the time.

Unashamedly stolen from Spasso on the E24 website, it is amazingly comprehensive:

^ +1 for BavAuto. A lot of other good vendors mentioned already, and here's some additional sites/info that may be useful when it comes to OE/OEM parts.

Started a thread last year over in the E90 sub-forum that covers popular/reliable vendors and a pricing tool to shop them all. Here's the overview thread that covers much of that discussion: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=801293.

The price comparison tool for all 40+ of those sites listed is available at www.bmwpnpc.com. Results are returned in a single browser window, each site to its own tab, OE Genuine BMW prices can be displayed instantly without ever launching your browser, and those prices can be exported for easy spreadsheet creation in Excel (there's a template available on the FAQ section of the site).

There is also an optional right-click integration feature to search parts directly from RealOEM, online DIYs, etc., as well as the ability to include/exclude online dealerships and save vendor selections and settings as your default for next time.

The tool also has a section for searching forum classifieds, as well as a growing list of international vendors that can be searched. There are links in my signature to the About, FAQ, and ChangeLog pages, as well as to the forum announcement that covers a lot of the newer improvements, highlights a number of user reviews, and includes a brief overview video.

Hope this helps!
