I need to do a complete Antenna replacement on my 96 Z3 roadster. And I have been surprised to find nothing online explaining how. I've seen plenty of posts about replacing the grommet but not the full antenna.
If you have a power top, the connector/amp is behind the hydraulic pump... and the part, without the grommets and mast is over $100. I replaced the whole thing with OEM in my car and wish I hadn't. I should have gone with a generic replacement for a fraction if the price.
