No need to purchase an expensive thread adapter to add an oil pressure gauge.
I purchased a 12M x 1.5 to J.I.C. male, a J.I.C. Tee, a J.I.C. male to 12M x 1.5 female and a J.I.C. male to female 1/8 NPT. This setup adapted the the metric threads off the oil filter housing to NPT then the Tee. Off one side of the Tee I used the J.I.C male to female 12M x 1.5 then the original oil pressure sensor (no light on the dash). Off the other side I used the reducer to plumb the oil line for the gauge. Sounds a lot more complicated than it is.
All this for a grand total of $17.00! No expensive, overvalued adapters, etc. No shipping no hassle. All from my local pump/plumbing supplier.
