I'm shopping for an X1, and I've been checking Edmunds & Trucar. I notice that they show different numbers for the invoice:
Edmunds: $29095
Trucar: $29695
(This is the base model X1 s28i with no options) There is a $600 difference between the two. Who is right here?
You don't need Edmunds, Trucar, BMWconfig or anyone else to get the invoice. It is 92% of the vehicle msrp + 91% of the options msrp + gas guzzler tax if applicable + $895 + $180 + maco. So if the msrp with no options was $31545 which includes the $895 you multiply .92*(31545-895) + 895 = (28,198) + 895. BMW rounds to the nearest $5 so 28200 + 895 = $29095 + $180 + maco. How much is maco is the problem. I just ask as a casual question before I'm serious which seems to work.
