There has been a bunch of OT threads lately, so i think we should try to keep it all the ot talk in one place. I know the e36 forum rocks, and all the other forums suck big time :bigpimp:, yet we need to stay on topic....
I found out the scary way that after 2 years of ownership my front windows do in fact work, but are not quite attached to the frame.... lol. who's got two hands and is buying an a$$ ton of window guides? this guy.
Hey James, I looked for my armrest on RealOEM, couldn't find it anywhere. Does anyone know if this little thing is an OEM part?
It doesn't have any markings or part #s on the bottom, but it does have little cupholder shaped things on the bottom so I can put it on top of the cupholders too, don't know why I would, but I can.
In the 3 years I've had the car I never thought anything about it until James asked if it was custom, now come to think of it I don't think I've ever seen another one. Its pretty amazing for me, since I have the ZHP knob and Z3 shifter which takes like 1.5" off the total height of the shifter, and I'm 6'3". That little armrest lets me drop my elbow down and everything sort of lines up. I'd hate how short my shifter was if I had the built in rest.
I swapped a stock DME with my chipped one cause I had thought that my ebay chip was making things run rich
put the stock one in there went for a drive
MY GOSH that thing was slow, felt like forever trying to hit redline at first, no low end torque and it still smell like ass ( and i think i experienced the vanos jerk?)
Put the chip back in RPMs climb freely, got some low end torkz and redline is much more pleasing and sounds better. still smells lol
I Dino Stand by le fleabay chip until I come across some money and start my build/swap
