Mein Auto: 650i

I-Drive Toggle malfunction

...spilled coffee into Toggle for I drive. It went crazy for a while moving with out being touched and then just quit. Does anyone know how this Can this best be fixed? My car is a 650I from 2006 and is out of warranty.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
