Angel Eyes - I need your help !

Hey Guys,

I've been looking for the correct brand/size Angel Eyes (LED) to purchase for my X3 (Pre-CLI). I have the Adaptive Xenon projectors (factory) Can anyone confirm what model , fitment has worked in the past?
None of the vendors (Bimmian / Stealth Auto) advertise anything for the X3 and when chatting, they tell me they don't know of anyone who has done this mod, but apparently lots of people have destroyed their lights ! Baking, etc ... YIKES !

Help !

I will do a DIY for this once I'm done, I just need some guidance before I start. Anyone with experience please chime in.

Yeah I've been wanting to do this pretty bad too but my headlamps are toast and have tiny cracks all over the lens since I got My X3 from Hawaii. I at first thought about adding some and I looked at a few Angel eye kits like ones from Orion but I can't think of any others that have angels eyes for the X3. Some might work from other series BMWs but its hard to say. I also want some that I can change the color with my phone but I can't make it work with any of the kits out there.

Search on Google for "BMW e83 angel eyes retrofit". The 2nd and 3rd items currently returned are for a HID and (r-dash) angel eyes retrofit for a LCI X3. There are quite a few pictures of the retrofit process.

Just replaced the bulbs on mine without having to do any mods to the lights themselves. The bulbs were the 10w from ijdmtoy.
