Loving this thread!
So I just bought my first Bmw. I started working at the dealership and everyone told me how great the old e34s are so I went and got one. 89 535i 270k auto and loving every minute of it. Needs little things here and there but it's no big problem. Wanting to go all black everything with some style 42 wheels, however they're discontinued through my dealership except for a 18x8.5 for $400 a wheel. Anyways Here she is

Been away a while, E34 has been sitting since August being started every few weeks, battery being charged.
Felt good to charge her up and go take her to be detailed for the first time since June and letting her sit all December to go dead.
Life has gotten busy, and she was replaced as my Daily with the Elantra being in the city.

My '95 E34 has been a trooper. Has over 237k miles and is still road worthy despite showing its' age.

Guru, I am running a set of 17" style 32s on my 540 now. They fit just fine but you need hub centric rings as the hub bore for E39 is slightly larger than E34. The rings are 6$ on eBay.

That awesome. Are you running a staggered setup? What are you running for tires

What type of cold air intake are you running. I've heard that OEM intake setup is ideal for the engine so decided to stick with that. I do have a K&N intake lying around which I haven't installed. Do you have diy?

Guru, I could only afford all fronts I'm afraid, however I compensated by using spacers in the rear. I'm running Toyo Proxes 235\45\17.

I'm was thinking doing the same thing and go with all front. Do you know the exact size of front rims you went for? Any alignment or balancing issues? What type of spacers did you use for rear? Are you using spacer with the hub centric rings?

I believe they are 20mm. If you are in the Atlanta area you can come look at them. I'll sell them too, I put new wheels on it again lol. I believe Dionte saw them on the car.

Let me know if you'd be willing to ship to mass and how much you're looking to get if you do decide to sell. I'd take them for the right price

My first experience during a snow storm with her. With snow tires on, it's like day and night compared to driving it with summer tires. A whole different car!Click image for larger version

My baby, needs some paint work, but mechanicly it's a great car. 3.0 v8, 5 speed. 239000 miles on it now. I paid $750 for it about 2 months ago, i have put 3000 miles on it with no issues other than my coolant fan exploded.
