FYI. The difference from 47.5 to 48.1 for the CAFD folder only is one file removed and 45 added:

Left base folder: D:\ISTA-P_v.47.5_SPdZData\psdzdata
Right base folder: D:\ISTA-P_v.48.1_SPdZData\psdzdata

For the PSdZData version it is very simple. The car needs PSdZData version >= to the last version of ISTA/P used to program the car. This can only be determined by either the ISTA/P Measures Plan Final Report, which likely you will never have, or by reading I-Step Current from car's VCM as explained here, and then cross referencing the I-Step Current to the ISTA/P version:

The PSdZData version then in turn determines the minimum E-Sys version needed. This is where it gets a little fuzzy, but generally speaking, PSdZData >= 48.2 and <= 50.x requires E-Sys >= 3.22.5 and PSdZData > 50.x requires requires E-Sys >= 3.23.4.

But, the best bet remains to use the latest versions of PSdZData and E-Sys, and not worry about compatibility issues. Saving a few dollars by clinging onto old versions is not worth it.

Sorry, but I have no idea what those are.

I could, but it would do you no good. E-Sys & PSdZData is for Fxx cars only. For Exx cars, you need NCS Expert & SP-Daten. And Cable is different too, ENET versus DCAN.

Errr....48.1 is 38 versions ago. The latest is 56.1.

I trust this is not for a E93 330i.
