Looking for a silver hardtop for a 99 m3 e36

My convertible top has just ceased to function, I've done nearly everything I can to fix it but it is turning into the purgatory of having to wait for a clear day to drive. I can't afford what the BMW repair shops are quoting to fix the top. It's more than I paid for the car. So I'm looking for a hardtop that I can install myself, if necessary with a friends help, because in dallas tx its very tough to see a completely sunny day without a chance of rain. It would be pretty beneficial if I could have a hardtop that I could remove just in the summer months. THE HARDTOP DOES NOT HAVE TO BE SILVER, I PLAN ON GETTING MY M3 A NEW PAINT JOB SOMETIME SOON.

My M3 is just trying to have enough problems so that I would get rid of it, but its like my child; I can't let it go.

Any help appreciated, thanks!

Your problems aren't M3 specific. You will get more 'traction' in the regular E36 forum.
