Hi all

Just ordered a 3.0d M sport in the UK. From the documentation I have seen, and pictures, I cannot see any 'flappy paddles' on the steering wheel.

Surely this cannot be true? Could anyone confirm it?

Thanks

J

Hi All,

Down here in Australia we can order the 3.0D and we can also order the MSport Kits.
Only thing is no flappy paddles for any models coming to Australia.
Even though in all the brochures it has them pictured, the is a little *at the bottom saying paddle shifters no available in Australia :(

Regards
Roderic

Still order a 3.0D with MSport....ETA Jun.

Very interesting about the 369 M rims being fixed 245/45 R19 for front and rear, as bmw.de has the M Sport package rims as option 2NE which is mixed tires- front 245/45 R 19 and rear 275/40 R19.

From bmw.de:
"M Leichtmetallräder Doppelspeiche 369 M, 19" mit Mischbereifung (S02NE)
M Leichtmetallräder Doppelspeiche 369 M, 19" mit Mischbereifung und Notlaufeigenschaften, Größe vorn 8,5 J x 19 Zoll, Bereifung 245/45 R 19, Größe hinten 9,5 J x 19 Zoll, Bereifung 275/40 R 19"

I'm going to request this option 2NE instead of 2A8.

Also, on the build sheet for SOP 4/2011, 2B7 (which is wheel style 309, available with ZAP) adds 840 (Increased top speed limiter). Would think that the ZMP would also add 840?

I have attached the X3 xDrive35i US SOP 4/11 Build Sheet.

What would happen with ZDH (Dynamic Handling Package) being added to ZMP?

Finally, the US owners manual lists on page 208 list 3 different 19 inch tire sizes for the X3 35i such as: 1) F:245/40 R 19 98W/ R:275/40 R 19 101; 2) F:245/40 R 102V/ R:275/40 R 19 105V; 3) F and R: 245/45 R 19 102 V

And a 20 inch rim F:245/40 R 20 99Y/ R: 275/35 R20 102Y which might be BMW Accessory BMW M Double Spoke 310, which is only available after market as BMW.ca, BMW.co.uk or BMW.de don't have this as a build to order option (also not in the english 2011 X3 catalog I picked up at the BMW Welt during my 335is ED 9/10).
