Next morning I connected everything back and everything is back to normal.
This was my gamble because i refuse to bring it to my dealer to give up an arm for diagnose then parts and labor on top of that. But it worked out in the end.
Now to my next problem. Neverending issues with these cars.
Thank you very much for your information.
As it works with computers, a reboot will do miracles sometimes. Not that the BMW internal computer works the same way. There are actually several computers in a network in a BMW.
This are exactly my thoughts regarding the bringing of the car to the dealer. I have that done with other cars, both here and in Europe, and after "giving up an arm and a leg" the issue was still not solved with all kind of "metaphysical" explanations to what could be the problem and why wasn't it solved. I do not have any experience with the BMW dealership, so I cannot say anything about them, however the other ones I dealt with were supposed to be also reputable brands. Looks that customer service is still a big mystery for them.

If you installed new wheels and tires without the sensors, you would have known immediately that there is a TPMS communication problem. TPMS is not rocket science, any tire-shop, dealer can tell you which cars have TPMS. In the US, all cars sold after Sep 2007 must have TPMS. I believe BMW started phasing it in even earlier. A battery in the TPMS sensor should last around 10 yrs. If the BMW dealer installed your wheels/tires then I would bet that your sensors are fine and that something else is causing problems - i.e. battery issues.

Oh wait, when you wrote 'dealer' - you didn't necessarily mean 'BMW dealer'? I'm starting to understand the issue now...

I managed to install the battery (registered & programmed) and everything is perfect.
The wheels do not have tpms sensors, so this is also sorted out.
Thank you for everything guys.
