Water pump failure? When this happens the engine can heat VERY, VERY fast. Within a minute you can go from "ok" to "dead engine".

Once water stops circulating, the small volume within the engine overheats. Not getting circulation out of the engine to your heater core explains the lack of heat.

Did you stop driving????? You need to get it to the dealer.

A

PS What does 'patriots win over miami' have to do with the car?

Not a mechanic nor a engineer here so my advice; take with a huge truck load of salt.

A) do you have sufficient coolant after you get the warning. If not, maybe a pinhole leak somewhere

B) It may be as simple as you need to burp the radiator, cause you may have air in your system. Their is a published DIY on how to bleed air from the system on either xoutpost or on here. Search is your friend.

Couple of options WHO KNOWS!.

Hope you get it fixed asap!

2 interesting ideas

sometimes the simplest approach is the best
we had a cnc machining center that had 10 repair guys look at it when it went down
someone then came from the japanese mfg company, looked at it, clicked a switch in the opposite direction and repaired it in 10 seconds!!!!!!!
