Hey guys, new to BMW and was looking for any recommendations of a local shop or mechanic in/around the Seattle area. I prefer to keep help trusted local shops versus shady dealerships. Please if you know any, PM or post up!

Thanks!

Strictly BMW in Bellevue. Auburn foreign car? Car tender? The question marks are because I'm not quit sure if I got the names right. I don't live in Seattle but I have done business with Strictly and have had no issues with them.

Anyone ever use Signature Independent, formerly Signature BMW, in Kirkland?

It's been a while since I've had a car at an independent shop, but the three I had great experiences with on my various BMW's were:

Strictly BMW: http://www.yelp.com/biz/strictly-bmw-independent-service-bellevue
Signature Independent (mentioned above): http://www.yelp.com/biz/signature-independent-kirkland?page_src=related_bizes
Fat City: http://www.yelp.com/biz/fat-city-german-car-seattle?osq=bmw+repair

We're lucky to live in a place with so many options. My parents live in Olympia and there seem to be no really trustworthy experts for our cars in town. They end up bringing their X5 all the way up to Seattle for service.

2016 update

Own multiple BMW for 10+ years ( 328i, now 335i).

Was loyal customer of East Bavarian until 2014 , but they started being sloppy.
2014-2016 tried Signature BMW - but quality of service has fallen lately. Repeat issues and not properly diagnosed. I have smoke coming out from exhaust for last 6 months , no resolution yet.

Planning to try Strictly BMW - will update this thread with my experience.

Strictly BMW got the issue fixed - root cased to fuel injectors, they are pricey.

Ken mobile mechanic 425-236-0295 in Seattle just replaced my valve seals and all gaskets within 2 days. It's significantly less expensive than strictly bmw.
