Jon, probably for the millionth time, thanks for coordinating an incredible '09 Bimmerfest event which was pretty stellar.
I made a decision to go to Bimerfest '09 based on your encouraging post regarding the weather forecast for Santa Barbara.
The weather and event was indeed perfect in every way.
I took pics of a Bimmer that caught my interest that might lead to the farthest traveled Bimmerfest '09 participant/s arriving from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Hope this helps.
Here are photos of my 1994 BMW 850CSi which won the Best Stock Award. Many thanks to Jon & all of the volunteers that made this year's Bimmerfest the best yet. Credit for the photos go to 04SSHD & Axion E46 - great shots guys!

This is clearly the Best of Show winner, but unfortunately, wasn't in the competition.

Eric Shieh's amazing E46 M3
Ron Perry's awesome E28 M5.
Every year it is so great just wondering in advance of the show what BMW Ron will bring...
So many amazing cars hard to narrow it down to just a select few, I'm glad I don't have that task. Jon, as always great show, I can say IMO this was the best venue yet, I have zero complaints this year (other then the "super awesome cool" guys across from the Legion that had to start their cars every 15 minutes and just sit there and rev them up with those badass looks on their face, but that has nothing to do with the actual show...). Thank you Jon and your staff for doing this once again, this is the 1 thing every year that I can count on to have a great weekend, it gives me something to look forward to with anticipation.
And it's great to see the awards going to something other than 47 LCD speaker wagons. This goes a LONG way to legitimizing the event even further. Props to the judges!
seems like an awesome event. too bad i missed it. i will try to make the next one. Any chance it would be somewhere in the Mid-West??????
