my friend has a 95 m3, I was wondering how to tell the difference between a normal and i lightweight m3
In addition the cloth seats will be manual "luxury" also known as "sport" seats. If the car has vaders, even if they're cloth, they're not lightweight seats.thilton59 said:The lightweight will be white with the motorsports decals, it will probably have a wing (it was included from the factory, but came in the trunk), it will have the front adjustable splitter, an X brace, cloth seats, Al doors, a different diff, and no AC. Also, so sound dampening under the hood.
If his car is running even remotely close to well, his car will be faster.jspit540i said:thanks, yeah his is not a light weight then, off the topic the reason i was wondering how my 98 540i auto would match up to my friends 95 m3 manual on a straight?
It'll be a good race on a straightaway...the M3 won't have much room for error.SoloII///M said:If his car is running even remotely close to well, his car will be faster.
About a second zero to 60. I think that's a decent amount of margin.jrp said:It'll be a good race on a straightaway...the M3 won't have much room for error.
On paper, agreed. :thumbup:SoloII///M said:About a second zero to 60. I think that's a decent amount of margin.
He was comparing a 540i auto with the E36 M3.jspit540i said:in all honesty i thought a 95 m3 had a 0-60 of 5.5-6.0sec and the lightweight did a 0-60 in 5 flat? correct me if i'm wrong
