Yeah, well, I'm desperate. The vehicle has a three year old issue. This will likely be my last try before I give up and just live with it. Painful, but knowing I did everything I can, at least I'll have no regret.
Shouldn't it be the first one AND the second one as well? I thought they go in pairs.
Yeah, a BMW master tech had a look at it for two weeks, admits there's a symptom, but can't pinpoint what's wrong. Told me to come back when there's a fault code recorded or if the symptom gets worse.
Went to the dealer but the SA strongly dissuaded me from replacing the o2 sensor, saying a faulty o2 sensor brings drivability issues or CEL. Now all I can do is just wait for a fault code.
