What sort of discounts from MSRP should be expected for a 2013 328i convertible? Especially keeping in mind that the model is about to be replaced by the new model in a matter of months.
I just paid 57.4% of equivalent new MSRP for 10.3K mile one. It is a late 2009 but still... the -verts have heavy depreciation in the first two years. They quickly fall to ~$25->28K and then fall much more slowly.
Two years ago I picked a new MX-5 in Fall for ~74% of MSRP (18.2K vs 24.6K IIRC). I waited until Fall this year to buy the E93 and saw used prices drop about $4K for low mileage cars.
Unless you are multi-millionaire I'd buy used unless you see at least $10K off MSRP.
Might want to search in the Ask-A-Dealer forum here.
Better to negotiate from invoice not from MSRP. bmwconfig.com
