found this on .org. Its the list that BMWNA comes out with every year with the top ranked dealers across the country. Im not sure if this is just a sample, or the whole thing. How did your dealer measure up??

Ahem....

I did get a big bonus that year!

Just as it is with Winning the World Series, or the N.B.A. Championship, repeats are even tougher!!

My dealer is listed there too  Not bad for a small set up, they've grown a lot over the last year.

Nice to see our dealership on the list!

Yark in Toledo, Ohio

They have always treated me in a manner that I expect.

Not the least of which is the fact that they just put a new top on the 99///M Rdstr :)

Jon,

I am skeptical about the selection process. Numerous bimmerfest members have complained bitterly about the poor service and sales experiences at some of the listed BMW Centers. Furthermore, I think that Cutter Motors should have received the award that appears to have been unfairly denied to them last year.

Could there be some bias?

Definitely.

When I ordered my car, I had three requirements that HAD to be met:

1) The car had to be built in Germany. (I know, I know. South Africa plants ranked higher than Germany, but IMO, why would you purchase a German car if it wasn't built in the homeland?)

2) The car had to be available for delivery at a certain time frame, since I was still on the road on business when I ordered it and was only going to be home for a couple of weeks. And the car WAS at the dealership only one week prior to my arrival.

3) No one is to go out on a test drive in it once it arrived at the dealership. My car had less than 9 miles when I sat in it for the first time.

My sales advisor was TOTALLY patient and professional with me from the time I placed my order until I drove away from the dealership. I was treated as though I had bought a 7-series, instead of a 3.

The only service I had done on it so far was after I installed the OEM alarm myself and had to get it activated. My service advisor was thorough and courteous.

Overall, I highly recommend this dealership if any other Floridians are thinking about purchasing their first/next BMW.

Thanks for the compliment, but there is no subjectivity in the
"Center of Excellence" selection process...

If there was, BMWNA would have never selected Cutter...
:p

Those guys in New Jersey hate me...
:D

Does the dealer have any say on this when an order is placed? I was wondering if all Priority 1 orders (cust. ordered cars) come out of Germany.

3 year dormant thread brought back to life is that a record?

I'm not sure about this question. There are other knowledgeable people who have worked in dealerships (Jon, Phillipek, Sarafil, to name a few), and I'm sure they know the right answer. You might want to shoot them a quick e-mail. :dunno:

All I know is, my dealer had NO problems whatsoever in where my car was going to be built.
