I've looked on this forum but only found threads on resetting your brake service light. This (attached) is the light I'm getting when I turn the car on and I'd like it to go away. I've done the service already on it.
The service reset procedure is the same as the brake service reset that I just completed. Just toggle through the different systems until the service you want to reset is displayed.
1) turn ignition to RUN without starting the car (two presses of the start button without putting your foot on the brake)
2)toggle the upper information display button on your turn signal to display the date on the center display and then reset your trip odometer to 0.00
3)press and HOLD the trip odometer button until the service triangle is displayed and CONTINUE HOLDING until the first service icon is displayed and then release the button.
4)with short presses, toggle the odometer reset button until the service icon you want to reset is displayed
5)when the service icon you want to reset is displayed, press and HOLD the button until "reset?" is displayed, then release the button.
6)Press and HOLD the button until you see ------ and then release the button.
7)repeat steps 4-6 for any other items you need to reset. If any of the steps are not performed in a timely manner, the system will exit the service reset mode and you will need to start over at step 3.
8)turn ignition off (one press of the start button)
3)press and HOLD the trip odometer button until the service triangle is displayed and release the button
>>When I release the button the triangle disappears and to get it to reappear, I have to press and hold...it's a never ending cycle.
Thanks. That worked. I don't really know what some of those symbols mean so I reset them all (or most of them).
