There has been a bunch of OT threads lately, so i think we should try to keep it all the ot talk in one place. I know the e36 forum rocks, and all the other forums suck big time :bigpimp:, yet we need to stay on topic....
I personally am a fan of depth, and your wheels are very nice. I wouldn't tread them unless you're really into that flush BBS web style. What do you guys think of these wheels? Straight up trade for my RPF1s... these are 18x8, mine are 17x8.
Nah... the wheels you have now look 10x better man. What do you guys think of these wheels? Straight up trade for my RPF1s... these are 18x8, mine are 17x8.
Those certainly aren't bad, but I like yours better.

but if you really want to look cool and have amazingly light and strong wheels you need a set of these babies...
Damn, now I'm second guessing myself...Nah... the wheels you have now look 10x better man.
Yeah my Brembos will fit under the RPF1s, but I just crave something different. Either way I'll regret not having the one I dont have :rofl:Ryan, can you fit your new brakes under the wheels you have?, if so I'd say stick with them because they look killer, but if you have to change in order to fit the new calipers I'd say stopping is more important than looks.
Its cool, I lost fan setting 2 the other day. I'd have been okay giving up 3 or 4, but I really liked 2.Dmc's are horrible as a car. As a piece of awesome though, it's just all there. I want one with an LSx in it. Hehe :eeps:
Oh. And my blower motor quit today. Nice.
They have a tread wear rating of 100. You'd be lucky to get a summer out of them. I don't think it makes any sense to put a super sticky autocross/track tire on an E36 with Style 5s. If you're that concerned about grip, you shouldn't be running a stretched tire/wheel setup, and Style 5s are heavy. Basically, there's no point in putting track tires on cruiser wheels. Every time I see someone with track tires on a car that is clearly not set up for the track, I :banghead:.So after extensive reviewing and deciding and thinking. I have decided on the tires I want to run on the rear of my 328. Enter the Nitto NT01.
225/45/17.
It's got the qualities I want in a DOT tire as well as good performance for track driving and its sticky as heck which should make my open diff a little less unbearable. I'm not shaving them or heating them, im gonna roll them just as they are. the car is going to see dry weather only so I see no harm in running them.
Did I mention they look totally bad ass.
At least you still have functioning air circulation. Its gonna get real cold here and I have no heat now. Grr...Its cool, I lost fan setting 2 the other day. I'd have been okay giving up 3 or 4, but I really liked 2.
Guess I should get a new climate control unit.
same with my car, happened 3 days ago out of the blue :rofl:Its cool, I lost fan setting 2 the other day. I'd have been okay giving up 3 or 4, but I really liked 2.

When is the last time you replaced the microfilter? If it hasn't been changed in a while, a new one will make all the difference in the world.but the fan speeds all feel pretty weak.
