not if you have the cash to get a good reliable shop to have it done. i did mine with the help of KEIF and it took us a day. i learned alot since he know everything there is about 7 series.
I did a Magnaflo muffler and I love the sound, I ran it a couple days with out the resanators ... can't hear yourself think..lol..so I put them back on.I also just did the H&R springs this past weekend it was a all day job..but well worth it... GL
So, you're able to control the sound that the exhaust makes? How is that done? Is it as easy as flicking a switch? Do you have a picture of how your exhaust looks now? Sorry for all the questions but I'm looking for a certain look and sound. See the video below.
Wow that 1st one is what mine sounded like with out the resonators..too loud IMO heres a clip that sounds closer to mine with just the Magnaflo muffler...I just wanted just a little more growl from the car.
It would be cool to have that flexability..but I'll say this it's real drivable and medium tone until I get on it then it's a little deeper tone but noyhing crazy...PM
You guys do know that when you put in an exhaust more free flowing than stock that you lose back pressure and do lose some torque.... IMO torque is more important in everyday driving thatpn horsepower because it is torque that pins you in your seat during acceleration.
I'll try to do a sound clip ..I've never done it before I'll try Friday....yea I do understand on the back pressure..I have'nt felt a loss of torque but I'm not really hot rodding her either...Thanks
I noticed you have dual exhaust, do you have a pic?
