Not old news at all from what I can tell. Jon Shafer's 2014 ordering guide does not even mention the F15.
Where did you get these? Do you have any more details and are these US-spec? Thanks for sharing

First thanks for posting this info. Not old news by any standard.
This confirms the idea that x5 is getting lines similar to the 3 series. This material seems to be a f15 dealer informational so I'm only hypo that it's offical release is close by

The lines are a dumb idea.
Other than that, I see contrast stitching on the mocha interior! Will probably look awesome. and the color choices are TERRIBLE. Where's metallic blue? dark green? red?

Sdrive35i sounds quite amusing. A marketing play to help either reduce cost and match the ML, MDX with 2wd or a performance SAV that you can throw around while smoking the tires

Comments:
Colors: Not unusual to have a limited palette for the launch cars. I would expect more colors to follow after SOP. Engines: The Diesel is conspicuously absent. WTF? Hope this is just a CARB certification issue, and theat the 35D (40D?) will follow shortly thereafter. Tires: I am infinitely relieved to see that the space saver spare is still an option. I was really worried they would go the route of the F10 and have no provision for a spare.

I dont know how they`ll spin the numbering on the diesel. Currently you get the torque of the 5, but the hp of the 3.5. sooo 4.0 seems in the cards. but then again, they might just stick to the 35d.

^depends on what you use the active steering for?
If you need the ratios changed for better parking ability (fewer turns) then no AS isnt really LEXUS If you just want the car to feel easier, one finger turns then yea its LEXUS and not really the intended design of AS but the new F vehicles feel that way
