does anyone know if the tire pressure monitors are the same in 2007 and 2008?

i just got this reply from a guy selling bmw wheels and i don't really understand it.

"
These wheels are from a 2007 335, which has RPA that uses the DSC wheel sensors to monitor a tire going low."

i have a 2008 335 w/ i drive if it matters.

pre 3/07 E90 335i used the abs sensors to determine if a tire was flat.

your car uses tpms, with direct sensors in the rims.

the wheels the guy is selling do not come with sensors. you'll need to either buy a new set of sensors or transfer them from your existing wheels.

It all depeends on whether the wheels came from an pr 3/07 Sedan or not. If they did, they would not have sensors. All 07 coupes and 3/07 and later sedans would have the TPMS system. And they are the same sensors for 08 and 09. You will need the sensors for your car.
