Not a big fan of the design, and I hate it when owners attempt to stretch rubber that is too small on these monstrosities of wheels because they are too cheap to buy new tires, want to avoid rubbing, or they're too stupid to know better. It looks awful and it's downright unsafe.
settle down there chief. Wheel and tire fitment is all a matter of personal taste and if you are going to whine about stretched tires and big wheels I'm afraid you have a lot of typing to do- BMW guys are well known for the stretch and poke approach. I personally like tires made for the size rims they are going on, but I like the stretched look on other's cars.
I like those BBS, but they are a bit radical in design. I would go with a beloved favorite BBS style like the LM, or if you want a one piece get the BBS CH

Settle down there chief. If it's a matter of personal taste, as you say, then I think Mr. Ludwig can express his opinion, which is exactly what the OP asked for by the way. And FWIW, I agree. If I saw those wheels and tires on anything, let alone a BMW, my eyes would involuntarily roll, while muttering something to myself like, "what a f ing idiot". Just my opinion.
Ditto... and I drive an "import" (Japanese). I feel like M3s are classier cars than the type of wheel shown above. But, hey... it's unique and if you're happy, more power to ya...

that's a good question. If you took that passenger front wheel and put it on the drivers side it would look backwards. As much as I hate not being able to rotate staggered/directional tires I run them as a necessary evil. I don't want directional wheels..
Those wheels are cheap considering they are BBS, and yes, radical design chnage indeed.....so, I am not sure if I want them....I DO LOVE the BBS CH in black though....
I won't even think about them even if I have them for free, 0.02
