As the title states, there is an oil leak from somewhere on the front of the engine that produces enough oil that it has the trans wet and sometimes burns on the exhaust. When I remove the plastic cover from the front bumper to the motor cross mount the front side of the engine is soaked, its not enough of a leak to cause any oil to be added during the 4000 mile oil change interval *that is my chosen duration to change oil*

looking for potential areas to focus on.

The gas gauge still doesn't read past 1/2 tank. Both units in the pass and drive side have been R&R'd with no progress.

After heavy rains there is always a puddle of water on the front passenger wheel well, more than likely its from the sun roof drain???...???

Thank you for your time and attention.

A few things to check for leaks:

Valve Cover Gasket

Vanos Oil Line

Oil Filter Housing Gasket

The oil pan is a potential leak area as well, but you can put some sealant on it and call it a day.

Not sure what to think of the gas gauge.

What do you mean by both units were R&R'd? What units?
