I'm looking at this car and for the price and mileage I think is a pretty good deal!!! What your guys think??
$43,988
- -1-OWNER 535i SPORT WITH NAV AND ONLY 16,025 MILES AND IS LIKE NEW IN EVERY WAY ! IT IS LOADED WITH M SPORT PACKAGE, NAVIGATION, HEAD UP DISPLAY, HEATED FRONT AND REAR SEATS, HEATED STEERING WHEEL, BLUETOOTH, AND MUCH MORE!! STILL UNDER BMW FACTORY WARRANTY (BUMPER TO BUMPER INCLUDING FREE MAINTENANCE) UNTIL 50,000 MILES, AND ELIGIBLE FOR UP TO 100,000 MILES BUMPER TO BUMPER!! - - CLEAN TITLE - -
That does not sound right. 535 base MSRP was more than that, iirc. And 2011MSport was a $6500 package.
Have a local BMW dealer provide you with the build (really suspect this is not one) so you can understand what I really in he car. Also, what is build date? Check the placard on the door. Do not buy anything earlier than 2/2011 build.
Spend some time searching here. Educate yourself as to the car. This deal sounds fishy.
Not sure I agree with the previous replies. NADA shows an M-Sport 2011 535i with 17000 miles at about $45K for "clean trade", $49.5K for clean retail. The price you're showing is reasonable given that the dealer may want to move the car at year end. The info you provided implies the car has M-Sport, Cold Package (ZCW), Bluetooth (maybe not the iPod connector, but you could use the built-in hard drive like I do) and Nav. I would have a look at it. My car is an August 2010 build and I have had absolutely no issues in 24K miles. I think the "hard" advice not to purchase a pre-Feb 2011 build is a bit strict, but that's my opinion. Many of those early problems had to do with ARS and other dynamic suspension and steering options. I do agree you should do additional due diligence, but it might be worth a look.
EDIT: From the picture, I see it also has the side cameras, probably rear as well. Note the small dark circle near the reflector on the front fender, that is the camera.
Also, who is selling this car? Is it a BMW dealer or some other brand? They might not be as aggressive as a BMW dealer who has more knowledge about the content of the car.
Yes it has rear view camera as well as build in iPod connection in the center console, the car by the description provided by dealer, it's got pretty much everything that I want.
Westgate Chrysler jeep Dodge
Of Raleigh, North Carolina.
Dealer Opens at 9:00am eastern time I'm going to give them a call since the car is about 200 miles from where I live.
Now what's the disadvantages of buying from a non BMW dealer???
I say it looks like a good car if it's in the condition advertised. A non-BMW dealer may be more willing to part with a nice car because 1) they aren't a BMW dealer and may not be as knowledgeable (maybe that's a dumb opinion of me), 2) they want to move it for end of year sale. Good luck -- let us know!
The way that car is equipped, it listed for about 70K; it is very well equipped. The M-Sport Package included a lot more content than 2012 and 2013 models which broke out options. It looks like a very nice car at very good price:thumbup:
I'm still thinking about what I wanna do!!
I currently drive a 03 e53 x5 4.6is with
109,000 miles (paid off) love the car and I don't know if a should trade it just paid my taxes and i just had a $1000 alternator job done if I decide to keep it I only count with $4k at the moment for down payment but I don't know if that would be enough tho.
I would hate let this deal get away if the car still there by when I get my tax return I would most definally go for it the same day I get my check.
I may be going to dealer Wednesday
With $4k cash and see what happens!!!
Did you run a vehicle history report? You seem to be very focused on the financial aspects of buying a used car, personally I would be more concerned about the mechanical aspect.
I was actually looking at this same car, and called a few days ago on it. I was told they had a dealer out of Cali who was interested. I thought he was bs'ing me, so I waited. Called today, and they really did sell it.
I can surely say that was my dream car!!! Hopefully I can find another but I doubt it. But the car still in the website they change the price to $44k even I think they're bulls***** I'm calling in the morning
I wouldn't be surprised if there was an accident or something on it. Just seems CRAZY cheap considering when I was looking for '11-'12 Used M Sport prices, they seemed to have depreciated very little.
Don't worry they built more than one of these
There will be others
