Because most amplifiers are now featuring both high level (speaker level) inputs and low level (RCA) inputs, you wont need to use a LOC. Now, if you connected a RCA cord directly to your speaker level outputs from your factory amplifier, there is a chance you're going to have a clipping issue. However, Kicker amplifiers allow you to connect a RCA cord to the speaker level outputs and go right into the RCA inputs on the amplifier.
