What happens if dealer makes mistake on my order?

I ordered an X1, and got my production number today. I logged in to track, and noticed that the dealer made a mistake:

M Sport Line
•High-gloss Roof Rails
•Sport suspension
•Increased top speed limiter
•M steering wheel
•M Sports leather steering wheel with paddle shifters
•Aerodynamic kit
•Sport seats
•Anthracite headliner
•Shadowline exterior trim
Chrome-line exterior trim <----- I did not order this

The car is already in production and scheduled to complete production Nov 30th. So what can be done now? I do NOT want a chrome trimmed window.

But you have shadowline exterior trim right above it - I'd get with the advisor and confirm if it's just a mistake on the BMW site, verify the order / vehicle inquiry report, etc. If Shadowline wasn't on there, I'd say you're screwed? :D

Looks like it might be a misprint as you can't have both Shadowline and Chrome trim on the same car :)

If it is a mistake, the options would likely be to have a new car built, or for the dealer to swap out the trim.

bmwusa's order tracking website is often inaccurate.

this is what it lists for my car on order:

M Sport Line
Shadowline exterior trim
Highlight trim finishers Estoril Blue matte
Highlight trim finishers Black high-gloss
Highlight trim finishers pearl gloss chrome

obviously I dont have three different trim finishers.

ask your dealer to send you a copy of your vehicle inquiry report

Website is always wrong... For some reason they can't fix it....
