Ticking Noise when Idling

I have a 2007 650I convertible. I hear a ticking noise when my car is idling after it has warmed up. The sound is there when the air conditioner is running and the car is in drive. It goes away when the air is off or when you put the car in neutral. Does anyone else have this problem or know what is causing it?
