I have traced a fuse blowing problem (fuse 10) on my son's 1989 325i down to the neutral safety switch. I've opened the shifter console and found the switch but can't for the life of me get the thing out to repair/replace. Has anyone out there found out how to pry this thing out?
I'm sure you've figured your NSS issue by now but I wanted to add that I just ran into a problem with a short in the wiring underneath the carpet just aft of the shift console that was causing Fuse 10 to blow. - 1990 convertible w/automatic
