Hello all,
I am currently highly considering making my first BMW purchase.
I am considering 2009-2012 BMW 328xi with a price range of $25-$28k.
I have test drove my friend's vehicle extensively and I love this car!
Living in the Buffalo, NY area AWD cars are always best and I could not believe how good this car handles in rough weather compared to cars I have had in the past!
There is only one BMW dealership in my area, and would like to stay local and purchase via them.
My dream 328xi is in white with oyster/black interior, and the dealership in my area has two available. The question is, however, which to buy. Granted I have test driven a 2009 and 2011 3 series and they both drove quite similar, so I'm betting that these two drive quite comparatively but I will for sure test drive both.
I thought that I would ask here first to see which is the better value/better investment/etc.

This is a 2011 328xi with just under 39,000 miles, the factory warranty expires 8/2014.
According to the dealer, this vehicle was offered as a CPO vehicle at the BMW dealership, however due to excess stock the vehicle was moved to a Mazda dealer (owned by same auto-center) and is no longer a CPO, although it once was (meaning it should be thoroughly inspected, correct?) Clean CarFax, value and premium packages. $26,5xx asking price.
I love the car, but what is confusing me is that the same dealership has a 2011 red/beige 328xi (same packages) for sale for just under $26,000 with only 25,000 miles. That seems strange to me.

Vehicle #2)

This a 2010 328xi with just over 41,000 miles. The factory warranty expires 2/2014 and the CPO warranty holds until 2/2016. The vehicle has value and premium packages, including heated steering wheel and idrive/naviagton (two things that I don't really care about). The car is listed for $26495.

If you could please help me in picking the best value in the short and long run, it would be much appreciated. I feel like the 2011 model might be a little overpriced in terms of others available for sale, but that might just be me.

I have long been a Infiniti, Nissan, and Toyota owner, and I am excited to join the BMW family.
Thank you for all of your ideas/comments/suggestions. Everything is appreciated :)
