pretty straight foward, if the car has been sitting for more than 20 minutes and i start driving, if i pull on the e-brake, a loud clank comes from the back. it only happens the first time you pull it, after that is fine, what the hell is it that i need new shoes or springs.????
spray some pb blaster or wd-40 in there and move the ebrake up and down to try to free up some of the rust.......or a simpler solution would be to just not pull up the ebrake after you start driving
i just replaced my ebrake cables and my drivers side cable was broke, they brake mechanism was rusted up solid. i also used loads of PB blaster doing my brake line install. just spray it on and let it soak for about 10 minutes or so. blast it again and gently work the brake around.
