Got the panels roughed out and mocked up. I've still got to do all the finishing touches, and they'll look really good. They look a lot better like they are compared to before though...
Wow! I mean it's still loud due to the straight pipe, but it's not nearly as loud. I'm also going to be doing the rear panels and doing something for where the rear seat was.
Bolted on my M50 manifold... and the damn injectors wouldnt go in. I never found that connector either, just left it unplugged and it ran (except it was really crappy due to the injectors being barley seated in the intake). This stupid swap is giving me so many headaches I'm trying to decide if its worth it... I might just put the old one on tomorrow and be done with it. I still have the rest of the front end to assemble and it needs to be done friday. Not looking good right now... Im skipping school tomorrow to work on this...
Does anyone have any tips on putting the injectors back in? I can line them all up, but I cant push them in. I put some grease on the O rings and tried pushing them down... no luck  Also, injector 3 is plssing gas at the fuel rail connection... And last but not least, I lost an injector clip. Can I get by without it? (#3 had a clip btw)
Im 99% sure. The fuel rail clears the manifold, its close but its clear. I made sure the wires that hang out by the fuel line had enough slack to move too. I get either the #1 injector down into hole, or the #6 injector into the hole, but not both at the same time. The rail sticks up on the opposite end, and even though I pushed down with equal pressure all across, the line just wouldnt go in. I put the injector clips on while they werent in their respective holes; could that have anything to do with it?
No, its not bent. Thats why I'm baffled. It should just plop down in? I must be doing something wrong...
