The PO of my Hellrot red M3ti did the same thing but in black, the rest of the car is that brownish color inside... I can say personally its a very nice touch! I'm really digging the yellow high beams on your car! My hellrot car is mostly faded pink and peeling clear coat right now, but it will get fixed soon!
Today I fix the windows, they needed new plastic sliders, and I fixed my trunk flooding with a new antenna grommet! After fixing my windows I found out I'm the only 318ti owner I know of with windows that do the coupe thing, namely, they go up and down slightly when you open and close the doors... Looks like the PO really did swap EVERYTHING out of the M3 coupe... Not sure how to but, I'll prolly try to disconnect whatever makes the window do that, since my windows do have frames around them, its rather unnecessary...
Sweet hellrot man! Any more pics, from the side and back?
I have an entire black interior in the other car to swap over, but its a TON of work, and honestly black sucks in the summer time here... kinda glad for the mulberry interior...
If you have crap tons of liquid capital you could have a custom interior made, Other wise you're stuck with what BMW gave us..... Meaning black, brown, and gray.
I've been looking at getting a kit from these guys. You get a completely new leather interior including front and back seats, center armrest, and door card inserts for $800, in virtually any color you can imagine. Seams fairly reasonable.
Thanks, it looks like I'll be getting a pretty good deal, too. I'm thinking this guy could be getting more than he's asking for. I'll share all the infos tomorrow after I see him, and hopefully, buy it.
I broke my clock spring by steering my car and my column plastic fell in my lap... any one have a spare (the clock spring not the plastic surrounds)? I believe its out of a 98 M3 :-(
