Will the rear side shades also fit a 3 series wagon (F31)?

I would like to know as well...especially for the rear ones. I already have the manual side shades.

BMW F30 3 Series Sun Shade Kit Released

I just ordered the BMW shades yesterday. Putting the kids in back was like tossing frogs in boiling water.

This is the part number for the F31 non-roller shade.
51462318007

I also found this. Might as well just tint the windows for the cost.

I ordered both sets last week for my 4GC and it end up to be the same part number as the F30. I want to return it but if you guys are interested in buying it, I'll sell both for $220.

When I purchased my 2014 the rear door sunshades are built into the door and are included in the $3,100.00 premium package. The powered rear window sunshade was a $575.00 option. I don't know if the aftermarket version you are referring to is the same or not but with kids it was a must option for me when I purchased the car. My e90 didn't have it and I can now appreciate the cost vs not having it.

It's different. The built-in shades was one of the options I wanted, but that's a downside to buying off the lot. It was hard enough finding a diesel wagon with sport seats. The upside is it came with the tech, nav, xenon, and winter packages.

The shades I ordered is a one piece frame that's held in place with clips. That's how it looks anyway. I'm not even sure if it includes the cargo side windows. Buying them on a bit of faith. All the pictures are of the sedan.

Use quality window tint and you get the same affect for a fraction of the price.

BabyLlama,

I hear that, If they are oem they will be fine. I don't have any experience with aftermarket sunshades. I think they look exactly like mine with the clips and should work well. They say not to use them with the windows down so i'm sure that would apply to yours as well. Good luck I hope you like them.

I just installed the rear window shade kit for my 328i and it looks good. It is only held by clips with adhesive backs. Just a little worried about how long they will last since it is not permanently attached. I didn't want tints because I know my two year old would scratch it right away. I didn't get the rear window shade cause I am planning on installing my radar d detector and don't want to interference. But I may change my mind lol. Just wondering if the rear also uses adhesive.

I had mine since last Oct 14 and they hold up pretty good both windows and rear, the clips are not that expensive and you can replace them as needed.

Ok great to know. With the front windows down do they flap in the wind?

After putting on the side rear shades I decided they look very good and picked up the rear one as well. Kept debating if I should tint the back or put the shade. While I like the permanency of the tint, I believe the custom fit shade is more classy

when you have this shade, can you still roll down window? if not, then tint is better IMO

You can but I wouldn't go on freeways speeds. Takes a second to take off.

My assumption is that these shades can be practically installed at daytime and removed at night, but the clips with adhesives(as shown in pictures of post#19) would mean they need to be replaced after removing a few times.

Yes after a couple of time of on and off use, the adhesive would more than likely come off. I would probably leave them off in the Winter and put them back on in Spring/Summer.

Hi - Does anyone know if the rear door windows on the F30 Sedan are the same size as on the E90 Sedan? I'd love to get these sun shades for my 2010 328i sport sedan.

I was going to say. Tint will be cheaper no? You can get full blackout on the your rears.
