With only 300 units allocated to the US I'm going to go out on a limb and say there will be a premium over sticker. Let us know if you find a deal!

Saw one at Pacific BMW marked up $100K. California is in a different reality so maybe they'll get that price.

This forum is a good place to ask too given that the number of folks at a dealership looking for F3x outnumber those looking for an M4 or GTS. I was pricing an F32 at Pacific and saw the GTS. Naturally I checked the sticker.

Look, if you are going to buy the car, put it in garage and 20 years from now it will have 5,000 miles and full service records (20 oil changes) ... then jump on it.

Otherwise, paying sticker for M4 GTS vs buying an M4 ordered to spec and going to Munich to pick it up is a bad deal/value in my personal opinion. I do not own The Truth, it is just my opinion. Also, if you are ready to pay sticker for M4 GTS, I warmly invite you to go to Porsche website and check what you can get there for the same money. Yes, it will have a lot smaller back seats, but other than that ...

Good luck!

The back seat in a Porsche is gigantic compared to the GTS. The GTS doesn't have one.

Well said! I'd sooner own a 911 GT3, which is an utterly impractical vehicle outside of the track. The M4GTS strikes me as just another sports car that doesn't make much sense given alternatives like BMW's M4 and M2, but other manufacturers are doing the same kind of nonsense. I mentioned the 911 GT3, and other companies like Dodge, Ford, and Chevrolet are offering ultra high-performance cars; and then there are companies like Bugatti and McLaren that are now producing 700+ and 1000+ HP cars...cars with capabilities well beyond the streets. I call them toys for boys who feel the need to measure up. Then, again, a sports car like the M4GTS might defy the logic of cars not being investments since so few will be produced.

Well, there you go! Equivalent Porsche (Cayman GT4) will cost you even less and be possibly just as apt (and fast) on the track out of the box as M4 GTS.

Thanks, I really didn't remember the tidbit about back seat removed.

I saw one at my local dealer. I liked the matte paint, but thought the goldish color looked tacky on the wheels, front lip, etc in person. I was there for service, and before I got to fully look around it the service manager called me back over.

No dealers have sold them for more then MSRP, not too sure why someone would want one, it's a race car in street car clothes,

I'm guessing he meant: "No, dealers are selling them for more than MSRP."

I know that GTS, and I'm very surprised it has not sold since it's sitting in the middle of Expensive car dealership. But as I wrote, it's basically a race car in street clothes...

I think the M4 CS is more appealing, back seat, not decontented...and no hideous wing spoiler; even so, I'm not spending ~100k for essentially the same car I have now.

It's more then a M4, but like I said, it's a race car in street clothing.
