I am approaching the 10K mile mark on my 2003 BMW 330i and wanted to convey the following love notes I have for this car (by the way, this is the most fun I have ever had in driving in a car)!
(I know you have heard this all before, but I just still had to express this love I have for my 330i!)
1. I am in love with this car (my wife seems jealous at times, I'll have to be more discrete about this).
2. As I approach my 1 year anniversary, I still look at my car and can't stop smiling, since she looks so good. It's like I am still on my Honeymoon (even after a year). There is an everlasting classic look about the 3 series that everyone notices and can't keep their eyes off of.
3. I simply love the sound of the engine when you start it up and of course during acceleration. A sports sedan's engine should be this loud to tell everyone around you what kind of power you have!
4. I love the head jerking acceleration when you just tap on the pedal when at full stop.
5. For only having 225HP, the 330i further proves to me that German HP is different and more powerful than Japanese or American HP. The 330i has incredible acceleration for just having 225HP.
6. I love the staggered thickness in the tires (Sports Package). It gives the car a much sportier / stronger & menacing look. The great looking rims also help (rims make the car too!)
7. I love the tight / solid feeling steering and the handling is perfect. This solid feeling really conveys to you that this is a tank disguised as a sports sedan.
8. The ride is actually decent even with the Sports Package option. Sure it's rough at times, but overall smooth and driveable. I don't need a soft, comfy ride all the time.
9. I still like the navigation, it works well even without the touch screen capability.
10. The rear seating room is of course not spacious, but because of the 4 doors, it's not impossible to get into either. People can sit back there!
11. The Harmon Kardon Audio system is good. It's not the best out there, but it performs well.
Thank you again for listening and I hope this venting of mine further proves to you that the 3 series is still the standard in which the competiion has to emulate as well as it is truly the ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE.
For all you future buyers out there, definitely get the 330i loaded (Especially with the Sports Package). You won't regret it, however you will have a permanent smile stuck on your face for a long time.
