Clear Bra or not, that is the question?

Hood, fender, bumper, mirrors and headlights.

Might as well do everything in front...it takes the most punishment.

Well, I ask cuz my ZHP never saw any damage on the bumper, mainly the hood, and mostly around the BMW marque. Trying to save a few bucks for mods.

I didn't tint the windshield. It certainly is possible and certainly is illegal. I put a reflective sunscreen in the front windshield when I park and the car actually doesn't get too hot between that and the HO tint on all the other windows. You would probably need to go to an unauthorized installer to get the front windshield tinted and don't expect a receipt for it. It will also cost you more since its a little shaddy (no pun intended) Good luck with the car !

Addressing the original question...I had never been a fan of Clearbra, mainly in principle, kind of reminded me of people who cover their furniture so it will look nice for the next owner. Then after less than a year with my M3, the front end looked like hammered #@%. After a visit from the regional service manager, they agreed to respray my bumper cover as a warranty issue, 3 weeks later the Clearbra went on. 8 months later or so, it still looks new except for the chips I had on the hood and fenders from the "before CB" era. I only wish now I had done it on delivery. I've learned my lesson and will do it on any car I buy in the future, it's pretty cheap for keeping the car looking new.

Any Clear Bra recommendations on price and warranty in SOCAL mainly San Diego?

I wish I have put on mine, thanks to the new highway construction, I got rock chips all over the bumper.

Jet Black with clear Bra

I hate rock chips more than a few bits of plastic with panty lines. Can always remove the plastic but fixing pitted paint and deformed plastic body pieces (rocks at 60+ not only chip the paint but also gouge the underlying plastic) is not fun. Bought a kit that covers front of car and rear quarter panels. Also covers for headlights and fogs. Made a few bits myself. Installed all of it. Not perfect but worth the effort.

I think women should wear clear bras Seriously though I've had them on 2 black Bimmers and now on my Silber Grau, and it works very well.
