Taking delivery of E90 in Munich a good idea ?
Iam plannin to buy an E90 in Nov, Is it a gud idea to take delivery in Germany? What information should i know?
how long & much will it cost , to ship it to TX? Experts plz help ! I will be a dream come true, me and my wife flying down to munich and taking delivery of our new baby ! wow....

Its a pretty strait forward process. You place your order about 3 months before you plan to go. You pay 30 days in advance for the car, pick it up, drive it, drop it off, and wait 6 weeks to arrive in the US. The ocean shipping to the US is included, but the dealer still charges $695 for US delivery to them.
There is an MSRP/Confidential E90 pricing form (I can't find the link now) that shows their price, I would print it out and have it ready when you negociate a price. www.bmwusa.com/bmwexperience/EuropeanDelivery/

Its good 2 c ppl r so crazy for a bimmer , just like me.. Its like a virus.. u know! once u get it.. stay for life and u keep "contaminating" others !

It's a surprisingly simple process. The hardest part is waiting to pick up and waiting for it to return.
