Insomnia

Did any of you have a problem with insomnia while you waited for your car to come in?! I'm about 15 days away from picking up my new car and I havn't had a good night sleep in days! I've been tossing and turning with excitement... I feel like a 10 year old kid on Christmas Eve!

Automatic/Steptronic (I know, I know, Automatic is wussy feature, but I never learned how to drive a stick)...

Same here and I just ordered it on Sunday hahahah I got a long way to go....

Yeah.. between cruising the posts here, calling the 1-800 number for status, checking the Owners Circle website, every little bit of info that changes is like a giant leap closer to nirvana! Other than my kid being born I can't remember being this excited.

Funny thing is, my E90 began production on my son's 4th birthday. So, my two "kids" share the same birthdate.

Needless to say, the wife just rolls her eyes...

Steply, by the way.. I never drove a stick either! But I'll be taking a lesson a week before pickup at a local driving school. You should look into that...

I know it's a matter of personal preference in the end, and I know you'll be happy with your steptronic, but after my test drive, I felt compelled to really understand the relationship to the car that driving a stick brings.

I'll probably sputter off the lot at first, but let's face it... I'm sure we all know plenty of people who can't otherwise chew gum and walk at the same time, but manage to drive a stick with ease...
