Help on removing lower rear bumper valence
Hello M-5ers. I have a 2003 530 that I just converted my front and rear bumpers to the M-5 bumpers or what is known as the "M-Tech Aero kit". It's basically the same bumper panels as the M-5 with a few different accessories to make it work on the 530. So my question is: does anyone know how to effectivley remove the rear lower valence trim on the rear bumper? It's the piece of bumper trim that surrounds the exhaust tips that is on the bottom portion of the rear bumper. I know there are 2 bolts on the side and 2 bolts on the bottom but how does the top portion that has the "tabs" on them removed without damaging the paint? I feel like I have to force this piece off and I might damage it if I pull any harder than I am. I somehow need to get these tabs to come loose from it's locked position for the piece to come off.
Please help! |
