How long will you wait before putting the emblem back on after it was stolen?

Just thought it will be interesting to see your responses.

You are sure someone either work with you(office parking) or live with you(home garage) did it. And it costed you the price of a new emblem and a paint chip(oh, and a heartache ). So what do you say?

had mine stolen a while ago. the bastard left of paint chip. although i bought a new emblem as soon as the dealership was open i didn't end up putting it back on till 2 months later. i had to get the paint chip touched up to my satisfaction before putting it back on

i heard that these were being sold at the local flea market for 2 bucks each. obviously they didn't get a good deal on them from the dealership because they bought in bulk. fricken bastards ....

Stolen emblems... how 10 years ago. Stealing tire stem caps is all the rage now!

I would put it back on right away...

I feel exactly like HW. The day I discovered it was stolen, I went and bought TWO new emblems, you know, just in case...

It has been 2 weeks now, I still havent put it back on. I just got my touch up paint(had to order it) and I tried touching up myself. Looks ugly , but the chip is right at the edge so I am hoping it's not noticeable.

You cant imagine how much I want to put it back on. But like I said, this happened at a parking where I park everyday. I will pass out if I find it missing again......with ANOTHER paint chip....the next day.... Bastardsssssssssssssssss and I cant do anything about it....

epoxy it on there, and put a cam corder bracket like whats his name built and when you see who did it, make him pay for new hood or whatever

What I was thinking of doing was something like a webcam . So I can do my own patrol anywhere as long as there is a computer.
